City officials are desirous of improving the footprint of the former Woodville Mall site. As of 2018, the city holds title to approximately 123 acres and is currently in negotiation with the Hirzel Canning Company to acquire 10 acres on the northern boundary to square the footprint off. 

Reveille currently provides the City of Northwood with on-call economic development, planning and grant writing services. We are currently redeveloping the former Woodville Mall into an “age-in-place” mixed use neighborhood complete with a new downtown.


On May 14, 2021 the City hosted a Ground Breaking Ceremony at the former Woodville Mall site, now known as The Enclave. The 100 acre space will feature Northwest Ohio’s first age-in-place sustainable mixed use neighborhood, Recreation Center, and be fully incentivized for potential investors! This exciting new project began with the construction of “Main Street” on  May 17th by the City's hired contractor, Vernon Nagel Inc. Main Street is expected to be complete by June of 2022.
