Driving Privileges

Northwood Mayor's Court may grant Limited Driving Privileges in certain cases.  Both the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) and Northwood Mayor's Court can impose Driver's License Suspensions under certain circumstances.  The Ohio BMV notifies licensed drivers of suspensions via U.S. mail.

Ohio law requires each vehicle and/or driver to have valid Auto Insurance.  If under an Ohio BMV Non-Compliance Suspension for not having this insurance, only a Municipal COURT OF RECORD in the County in which you reside may grant Limited Driving Privileges.  Northwood Mayor's Court cannot grant driving privileges for Non-Compliance Suspensions (see Ohio Revised Code 4510.021 B).  Area Municipal Courts that are a COURT OF RECORD in Wood County are Perrysburg and Bowling Green, and in Lucas County they are Oregon and Maumee.
